It’s all happening at our Independence Day Potluck Picnic — and we’d love for you to be part of it!

🍽️ Potluck Picnic

• Bring food and drinks for yourself — and a little extra to share.
• Feel free to bring a folding chair if you prefer that to a picnic bench.

🌱 Plastic-Free Picnic
In the spirit of Plastic Free July, we ask that you please bring reusable plates, cups, and cutlery. Extras to share are always appreciated.

Pro Tip: Bring a reusable container so you can take home any extra treats you purchase. Purchase? Yes, see below.

💸 Two Delicious Fundraisers

💙All proceeds support voter outreach, community events, and protest actions.

(1) 🥧🍰 Community Bake-Off: Bring a Dessert, Share the Sweetness!

• Calling all bakers! Bring your favorite dessert — pie, cake, cookies, cupcakes, rice crispy treats — anything you love to make and share.
  • Please bring an ingredient list that will be displayed so everyone knows what’s in your treat.
• Sweet Liberty Pricing: Each dessert will be served for a donation to DA of $2.49, honoring 249 years of independence!

(2) 📝 DA Barcelona Recipes: Tastes of Independence

• We’re putting together a community recipe PDF featuring your creations for our Potluck Picnic — salads, marinades, desserts, drinks, and more!

📩 To contribute: Email your recipe (and your name, if you’d like it listed) to [email protected]

💙 To receive a copy: Make a $4.98 donation to DA at the picnic and we’ll email it to you after the event.
* It’s double 2.49 — honoring 249 years of U.S. independence and doubling down on the spirit of community, generosity, and grassroots power.

• Music, mingling, and plenty of fun — all thanks to volunteers like you (see below for how to help make this event happen by becoming one of our fabulous volunteers)

• They can only be made on the DA website and only in USD — we’ll have a QR code at the picnic to make it easy!
